Album Puntičkár is dedicated to victims of persecutions, repressions and murders carried out by the communist regime. Author of the project is Miroslav Tóth, a musical composer and a saxophonist, famous also for cooperation with the Kronos Quartet.
Other members of the band are well-known musicians: composer Lucia Chuťková, Marek Buranovský (Vojdi), Márton Csernovszky (The Best Bad Trip), Áron Porteleki (Thisnis) and Michal Kaščák (Bez ladu a skladu). The songs were created by musicalisation of an interview with a former head of the State Security (ŠtB) Alojz Lorenc. Marek Kundlák created the wording.
The last head of the State Security (ŠtB) Alojz Lorenc provided an interview for the daily SME in 2014, in which he described his work as a head of the State Security at the end of the 80´s, as well as his life after the Velvet Revolution when he cooperated with PENTA as a head of the company´s risks (the cooperation prevails to this date). Lorenc´s story is one of the examples of the social transformation from the totalitarian regime to these days. Words of the secret service member (and a cryptologist at the same time) become a tool for obscuring the deeds of the communist regime that followed and cruelly punished its opponents (many of them paid the highest price for their courageous attitudes and lost their lives). By contrasting this historical parallel, Lorenc´s words from the mentioned interview sound absolutely cynically.
