About the album
After a long break, Kolowrat returns with new original songs in full arrangements.
The duo Rasťo Rusnák and Janko Horňák, who were behind the acoustic album Bichrom (2021), was joined by drummer Zuzka Ďurčeková.
Kolowrat's new songs once again move mainly around the corners of interpersonal relationships, notice the pitfalls of the contemporary lifestyle, weigh the balance of insecurity and mature adulthood. They are a personal statement and a civil reflection, they can be piercingly bitter but also romantic.
The visual side of KRISTAL was taken care of by photographer Dávid Doroš, the final sound of the songs was handled by Erik Horák from the Lososound studio.
