About the artist
Cellist, bassist, composer, singer, teacher.
Matej Tkáč graduated from the conservatory in Žilina and the VŠMU in Bratislava. He has performed in many groups so far.
For a long time, he has been playing in the ensemble of Nany Hudák and SHZ, but you could also see him at the concerts of Longital Suita, Katka Koščová, Miriam Kaiser, at many classical music concerts, either as a soloist or in string quartets and other ensembles.
You can also find his name in the credits of the albums such as Pesničky pre Jonatána by Jana Kirschner or the Breviár magických rastlín by Chill on the Sun, and he also played in the string section of the band Para's recording - To okolo nas.
