About the artist
"Zabiť Františka" is the pseudonym of singer-songwriter Samuel Kovalčík, who grew up on the foothills of High Tatras. Throughout his musical journey, he has explored various genres, played in several bands, and experienced life in multiple cities.
In his alt-folk songs, there is a blend of something local and at the same time unique, otherworldly, and partly exotic - an influence likely shaped by Samuel's half-Jordanian heritage.
The poetic lyrics are deeply personal, intimate stories, often told from a first-person perspective. However, they also carry a philosophical dimension, addressing stereotypes, injustice and flaws in our society.
